Throughout the '90s and well into early part of the new millennium, the Cash Money mafia carried the Dirty South flag in a way few other labels/groups have. While No Limit Records was at the pinnacle of its game, Cash Money quietly positioned itself to inherit the crown with a string of chart-topping hits; and when the Cash Money empire began its downward slope, many looked to and company to inherit the crown.
